Somatic Bodywork & Polyvagal-Informed Therapy

Finding your way to a balanced, spacious presence in your daily life.

This is a gentle, supportive space for those who feel they have been carrying too much stress in their body: a mind that won't quiet down, or a heavy sense of exhaustion that sleep doesn't seem to fix. You might already be practicing various forms of self-care, self-help, or therapy, but you still feel "wired" or struggle with strong emotions afterward.

Together, we work to guide you from the habit of being "always on" toward a state that is more grounded, flexible, and present—offering you greater clarity and insight into what actions or changes can help you in daily life.

If you find yourself struggling to 'switch off', always 'primed' for the next thing, and disconnected from your own needs, this work offers a pathway back to your better self.

What does a session involve?

  • A Gentle Inquiry: Using Clean Language, we explore your "something"—that knot of tension or quiet worry—through focused, non-judgmental questions. This allows you to listen to your body’s wisdom and go beyond normal ways of thinking about a problem to find a compassionate insight into what is happening and what might help.

  • Intuitive Touch: Through-clothing bodywork serves as a grounding anchor during the session. Whether the touch is a light, calming presence or a deep, steady hold, it helps your busy mind settle, allowing you to explore your inner reality with kindness and reassuring support.

  • Befriending Your Nervous System: Many of us live in a constant state of "high alert" (Fight/Flight) or "quiet withdrawal" (Freeze), making it hard to feel vibrant or stay connected to what we value most. We will map these states using Polyvagal Theory, honoring your nervous system as a deeply sensitive and emotive part of you that is always trying to keep you safe. By befriending the unique ways of your own system, you can return to a life where you feel rooted in your values, truly engaged, and resilient.

Finding balanced, spacious presence starts with a single step toward learning how. If you have questions about how somatic work can support your specific needs, please do get in touch.
