About
Hi, I’m Sam,
I work with busy professionals who carry high levels of stress and responsibility, often leaving them feeling tired, tense, and tight in their back, neck, and shoulders. Through my massage treatments, I help ease both physical and mental tension so you can feel more relaxed, recharged, and better able to take care of your health, stay active, and enjoy your hobbies.
My approach blends hands-free, remedial, and somatic massage to meet your body where it’s at. Treatments may feel deeply relaxing and restorative or involve focused, tension-releasing pressure that is effective without being uncomfortable—or a combination of both. Each session is designed not only to ease muscular tension, but also to support your nervous system in fully switching off, helping your body move out of stress mode and into genuine rest and recovery.
Before becoming a massage therapist, I worked in food system coordination and management, where I experienced periods of intense stress and eventual burnout. That experience led me to explore holistic health, the mind-body connection, and nervous system regulation more deeply. Around the same time, I also came to better understand my own neurodivergence, which has deepened my understanding of how day-to-day stress is experienced and processed by the body. This informs my work today, particularly in supporting clients who want to improve emotional regulation, self-awareness, and resilience through somatic bodywork.
Outside of my practice, I lead an active lifestyle and enjoy hiking, climbing, running, cycling, swimming, and snowboarding. Experiencing my own challenges with injury and posture has given me a deeper appreciation of how the body functions—and the importance of looking after it to keep doing the things I love.
If you’re dealing with persistent muscle tension, poor sleep, or difficulty concentrating, and are based in Bath, Bristol or Keynsham, I can help you reset both mind and body. My treatments are designed to ease pain, calm an overstimulated nervous system, and help you feel more grounded, focused, and at ease in your day-to-day life—so you can get back to doing the things that matter most to you.
